WARNING: This post is very picture-happy!
Danny and I had an amazing time at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival a couple weeks ago but I haven't had the time to post any of our pretty pics! If you asked me before I got married to spend a day at Epcot (I always thought it was the most boring park!) just to see topiaries, I would have never agreed to spend my only Saturday in the whole week like that. But alas, marriage has truly changed me for the better :) As soon as I found out about this festival at the end of April I decided that we just HAD to go! There are not many things sweeter to do with your hubby on a Saturday than spend about 3 hours strolling hand-in-hand through Epcot (it's the laid-back park now) and enjoy all the amazing floral displays of Disney characters. Here is a glimpse of the fun we had that day:

Also, here is Day 5 of the 30-Day challenge. Enjoy!
Day Five:
"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for
necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers." Eph. 4:29
Another way to describe the positive side of this "30-Day Encouragement Challenge" is by using the word "edify," which means, "to build up." Negative comments only discourage and tear down. Positive comments encourage and build. Do you edify your husband before others, adding to his value in their eyes? Do you praise your husband to his relatives, and yours? Does your husband's mother know how much you love him? How about your dad? Perhaps you can drop a word of praise into a conversation or letter. Be creative in letting your relatives know that you respect your husband, love him, and support him - in spite of whatever flaws and weaknesses he may have.
Thankfully, our families have become very close over the last 4 years and both sides know how much we truly love and care for each other. However, I still gleaned so much from today's task because it is always beneficial to speak highly of your husband and make it clear that he truly is the Man of your home. The last few days God has put such a strong desire in both my and Danny's hearts to take our marriage to the next level by going above and beyond to assist and care for one another. It's definitely not
easy but it's totally worth it!
love always,
