I'm Dating Again!

First off, It's FRIDAY people! Get excited! :)

Okay, back to the blog post title....that's right, I finally got out and went on a fabulous date last night! It was so wonderfully sweet and romantic, something that I have missed for quite sometime. I will hopefully be going on another one with him soon ;)
Now to all of you who are thinking, "Is she openly blogging about cheating on her husband?! What a hoochie!", don't judge! The wonderful guy was my husband, DUH! What kind of girl do you think I am?! :)
In fact our date was probably equivalent to what a high school, or maybe even middle school, date would be like! We went to the movies to see "Beauty and the Beast" in 3D. That's 100% our movie, we even danced to the song, "tale as old as time" at our wedding. No joke! Then we talked all lovey-dovey in the car on our way to Starbucks where we enjoyed a White chocolate mocha latte for me and caramel macchiato for him.

the contents of our date
As simple as our date was it made a huge impact on our relationship. To be honest, we have been in a dating rut for a while now because we have been so preoccupied by life! But those few hours together rejuvenated the love between us and truly reminded us of why we chose to marry each other in the first place. We didn't get married for convenience, just for me to have a lawn and care care person or for him to have a launderer or dishwasher helper (okay I'm not really the biggest help in either area but you get the picture) ha!
So I encourage all you married ones out there to set a date on your calendar, get dressed up and go out on the town alone with your man, even if it is just to see an animated movie that's rated G, you will have a blast falling in love with your hubby again :)
Have a great weekend!!
p.s. - this is me at my desk this morning {that soon won't be mine anymore}...YIPPEE!
I know I look bad...but what do you expect @ 7:30AM?! :)

love always,

Before Mika we used to go on dates too... every Wednesday (my fav day) and it was really nice just to go out, eat, or even shop together.
Though Mika is here and we have no $ to afford a babysitter, we've done some dates @ home: chinese food and a movie :)
It's such a great feeling to 'date' your own husband. xoxo
Have a great weekend!

It sounds like you two had a lovely night, and who cares if you saw a G-rated movie--it's awesome! I just love a good date night with my hubby, too. :)
