My {Blog} Beginnings

I was just thinking today about the reason I started blogging and it was actually because I had only been married for three months and wanted to document pretty much every waking moment of our amazingly interesting lives together. But fast forward two weeks and I suddenly realized that we are surprisingly boring according to the rest of the world's standards, ha!
So for the next few months weeks I tried to find my niche in the great big world of blogging and tried writing posts about anything from my makeup and hair products, to a mini bible study, and even tried becoming a fashion blogger. But now I'm at the point where I just blog what's on my heart rather than trying to put myself in a box and I have found that blogging is no longer any pressure but is an outlet for me to be myself and meet lots of great friends who feel the same way :)
And who knows, maybe one day I will be a fabulous fashion blogger who's got it all together. Or not. Ha!

Why did you start blogging?

love always,

I have no idea why I started blogging.
I like to write, but had never been able to keep a diary for any length of time...so having a blog is really my outlet!
I love it so much now! So for whatever reason past-me decided to start my blog, I am grateful to her :)

I started because it was after wedding planning and I was bored! Hehe. It really helped with my boredom. Took a little blogging break, actually still on my blogging break because it was taking too much time but I think I'll be back soon :)

I originally started blogging long ago because my boyfriend, at the time, was a computer geek. :) Now I still enjoy it but the subject matter has changed dramatically since getting married and having my Son. I don't have a niche but that's OK!!! It's been an awesome ride and it's really neat to meet other bloggers !!!

I started blogging a few months after we got married too because I wanted to cdocument our newlywed life and it just kind of evolved from there :-)

I started bc we were newlyweds living wherever the army sent us. I think you find your niche when you find your audience. Write what you know and what you're good at and people will want to read it :)

I started blogging to meet new people! My poor little boring life doesn't allow for much social interaction so it was a good way to meet others. I too ventured into different aspects of blogging but realized that I just would rather blog about my day to day mundane routine. If people read they do and if they don't, they don't!

Amen to not trying to make our blogs something other than "ourselves". Does that make any sense? I write for me...definitely a creative outlet among many I pour myself into. :)

(And technically, I started my blog almost two years ago after I cancelled my Facebook account...which I only had for five months anyway. I missed connecting to people and expressing myself via my writing. My blog filled the void. Ha. And I have no desire to return to FB...but that's just me,)
