Remember Thanksgiving?

So you know that holiday we had 5 days ago? Well guess what? I'm FINALLY writing about it! This post is a prime example of what procrastination looks like, ha!

So get ready for photo overload and an absolutely hilarious tale of fruit punch! You will soon find out what a horrible role model I am :/

how my Thanksgiving starts every year!
all that yummy Thanksgiving food!

my iphone 5 came in! No more Blackberrys for me :)

the finished product and my favorite ornament from our first Christmas

Ok here's how it went down on Thanksgiving day...
My niece, nephew and I were in charge of making the Thanksgiving punch for the entire family (20+ people) so it had to be done right. That meant we had to keep tasting it to be sure that it was absolutely perfect, and of course we just shared one cup. So, we get to the finishing touches and add in orange slices when my nephew thinks maybe we should take them out so he removes some slices and puts them in the cup we were just drinking. Somehow I didn't realize what he was doing and wanted the slices in there so I took the cup and poured it back in....along with the rest of the punch that we were drinking from the cup!! For all those who were wondering why the punch tasted so amazing, now you know why! Hahaha!

Did your Thanksgiving go as planned or were there some slip-ups along the way?

I watched the parade too. Is it just me, or did some of the words to Colbie's Santa song, sound a bit inappropriate??

The parade is a definite must for me on thanksgiving too! I especially loved the snippet from the new Cinderella broadway...that's always been my favorite version of cinderella!

I mean, I could probably create a tpl.php page for that node type with an override (haven't heard whether this is possible) or do a css hide but those options seem like work-arounds!https://www.sgtravelsmart.com/
