"It's Ok" Thursday & My 1st Giveaway!

This week has been great so far! I hope I'm not jinxing myself but everything has been pretty much awesome with school, work, and the hubster! I'm also excited to be doing my first "It's Ok" Thursday with Amber from Brunch with Amber!

It's OK....

...to go 5 years(!) through college all for just one day of walking across a stage and graduating. I can't wait til December 9th!

I will be in one of those seats in 3 months!

...to go on the cruise I was supposed to take for my honeymoon a whole year later (it's still better than not going at all!)

This is the exact cruise ship I will be going on :)

...to love doing laundry just so that I can snuggle with the clothes after they come out of the dryer

...to live in the Sunshine State and love winter a LOT more than summer!

...to never seem to have enough shoes even though there is not an inch more space in the closet for another pair!

...to go running every day that I get a chance so I can look hot for that cruise!
...to eat healthy and actually like it A LOT!
...to love my hubster so much more than a did yesterday and the day before that...and you get the point, I love that man! :)

Monday Madness and Target Tuesday!

Hi, Friends!
 I completely made the most of my only weekend off between taking summer classes! Danny was such an amazing help in getting my to-do list crossed off in a hurry, including my long-anticipated closet makeover :) And yes, pictures will be coming soon! We also had a very interesting grilling experience yesterday (the reason for the Monday Madness title) that is only hilarious because things worked out well! Here's the quickie version of the story:

Last night Danny was setting up the grill to cook his amazing chicken recipe when the ignitor was not creating a flame.  We were both starving so we came up with a brilliant idea.  We'll light a match and throw it in the grill while pressing the gas and it will create a nice flame. Great idea, right? Well....apparently it doesn't work that way.  We both stood right in front of the grill staring at it and the moment Danny puts the match to the gas there is a GIGANTIC burst of fire!!! We both dive away from the fire as if we are stars in an action movie, and I even lost my slipper while running!

Needless to say, it took us a couple minutes to recuperate from the fact that our faces and/or bodies could have been "well-done" if we hadn't hustled to get out of the way but when we looked back at the grill it had a nice steady flame and we were able to enjoy chicken together after all :)
