Hiiiiii! (sorry was that annoying?) Anyways! I'm Miranda from Aimless Translation. I got a tweet from the lady of the house (Asha of course) asking me and some other ladies to guest post. And I gotta say, I am relieved she had questions and I didn't have to think of anything on my own. My own blog, not a problem...but for someone else? Not so much. However I had a blast with these super fun questions!
* When you looked at yourself in the mirror today, what was the first thing you thought?
"I should probably shower today". Ahhhh the life of a Stay at Home Mom.
* Who is the 4th person on your missed call list on your cell phone?
My sister Jennifer. (I'm on the right)
* What is your favorite ring tone on your phone?
The theme song for "Parks & Recreation". Don't watch that show? You're missing out. If you are curious what it sounds like click here.
* What is your favorite item in your closet?
Probably 1 of a thousand of my go-to gray cardigans. I love them and will never have enough.
* What does your watch look like?
Like skin. Ok...I don't really have one. I used to wear one constantly up until I was a lifeguard after High School, then just grew out of the habit.
* What did your last text message you received on your cell say?
I actually need to show you the whole conversation. Background? My sister Melissa just had her second daughter June 3. The oldest is 16 months. (I'm the one in green)
* What's a word that you say a lot?
"Really?!" When I get mad or something bad happens that usually pops out of my mouth. I actually did a whole post about that word awhile back. And it's in the works for another one.
* Favorite age you have been so far?
Well I would say 22. Technically, 3 days before I turned 22 I got married. But then I studied abroad in Germany (see favorite place below). It was hard being away for so long, especially in our first year of marriage. However, I had tons of fun, improved my German, and really learned some independence and more about myself.
* What was the last thing you said to someone?
"Shut your lips!" Said to my husband giving me a goodnight kiss and thought he would be gross. We have a wonderful marriage. ;)
* The last song you listened to?
"Beggin'" sung by Phillip Phillips. He covered Madcon's song. I think he has been my favorite American Idol winner ever. I really like his voice and the bluesy, folksy, can-sing-the-phone-book (randy anyone?) voice. I actually have the studio version on my iPod but love the live version as well. You really should listen to it.
* Is anyone jealous of you?
Of course...many of women are jealous of my beauty-pageant looks, and riches upon riches. (Please read that in your best sarcastic voice) Truthfully, I have no idea.
* Name three things that you have on you at all times?
Iphone (it's attached to my hand), ID & Check card (you just never know when you might need them), a bracelet made out of recycled materials I bought from an art museum. I am mostly too lazy to take it off.
* What's your favorite town/city?
Wittenberg, Germany. This is the town I studied abroad in. LOVE it. Small town feel but a lot great people, and only an hour train ride to Berlin.
* When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper and mailed it?
My blogger pen pal. Sadly I have not heard back from her. Anyone want to be my pen pal? I have really cool stationary! :)
* Can you change the oil on a car?
I have been shown before. Did I pay attention? Nope.
* What is your current desktop picture?
A sculpture in the sculpture garden in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

* What 3 blogs would you recommend for others to check out?
Katie - This lady is my best friend and cousin. But she is refreshingly honest and just one of the best people ever.
Carly - I started following her blog ever since we became swap partners. She is also just a real girl, and I love playing Words with Friends with her!
Kasey - I've known this lady awhile. We actually graduated High School together and used to ride my husband's bus way back when. But mostly, when I started blogging she was there every step of the way for advice. (And her 2 dogs are freaken adorable!)
Thanks you so much Asha for having me (and you guys for reading my nonsense)! Have a great day!
I love reading Miranda's blog because you seriously never know what you will find when you go to her page (and I mean that in the best way) haha! Don't forget to check out her blog, Aimless Translation!
p.s. - She is also my final guest poster so tune in tomorrow to hear all about my crazy, kooky and very unconventional vacation! :)
