It's Thursday ALREADY?!

Hi, Friends!
What a busy week, my goodness! But here we are at Thursday and I am oh-so-glad :)
I'm late, as usual, for doing my Wee Bit Wednesday but here it is....



{one} what color best describes you + why?Yellow! It's mellow but fun and is such a happy color, kind of what I hope other people see me as.
{two} how have you changed in the past year?Well nothing much.....just that I GOT MARRIED!!! And that alone has changed me in so many ways. 
{three} have you ever had any surgeries? Nope, and I'm praying that it stays that way :)
{four} why did you start your blog?I was encouraged by a dear friend (thanks, Lauren @ moderndaywife) and I thought it would be a great outlet to express my creativity and meet new friends along the way.
{five} what are you looking forward to this summer?The two weeks between classes when I can just relax and spend time with my husband at our new favorite place...the beach!
{six} do you have any family traditions for the 4th of July?Not really.  We always end up having funny/interesting experiences with fireworks every year, though.
{seven} what’s something new that you’ve tried in the past few months?I actually just started my blog 2.5 months ago and I think it is sooo much fun! That counts right?
{eight} what is the perfect a/c temperature?75 degrees. But it's way too hot here to actually keep it at that temp. and I'm sad to say my a/c is on 83 right now :(
{nine} what was the last movie you saw in the theater?I honestly can't remember...it's been so long now that we have Netflix!
{ten} what song do you think everyone should hear at least once?"Shout to the Lord" and they should also see me do the hand movements to it...I learned them when I was eleven, haha!

Wee Bit of ME! (2nd post of the day!)

{one} when was the last time you used a pay phone (if ever)?When i was about 12 or 13 my best friend and I used to go to the mall and prank call people from the payphones there! So horrible, I know. But what can I say? We had no lives!
{two} did you ever fail a subject in school?Not until college!
{three} where do you go to get your favorite hamburger/cheeseburger?Honestly, my favorite is neither a hamburger or cheeseburger.  If I'm goin for a cheap but wonderfully delicious sandwich than it's gotta be the Original Chicken Sandwich from Chick-fil-a!
{four} have you ever served jury duty?Never and I really hope it stays that way
{five} how old were you when you moved out of your parents’ house?I lived there as long as I possibly could so that I could save $$ and shop! But I finally moved out at 22 years old when I got married.
{six} what is your favorite color to wear?Ooooh this is such a hard question! I love so many colors of clothing it's almost impossible to pick just one. But if I had to choose than it would probably be purple since it's my fav. color and also a change from the normal black and white but not too outrageous.
{seven} do you have a pair of shoes that you wear all the time?Yes! since it's summer I'm loving my Coach flip flops!
{eight} do you enjoy talk radio?It has to be content that is above and beyond interesting in order to keep my attention but if I listen too long their voices literally give me a headache!
{nine} if you could turn one unhealthy food into a healthy one, what food would it be?Any and all Italian food! It's all so wonderfully delicious but packs in some horrible calories!
{ten} who is the best speaker you’ve ever heard in person?

My 1st Wee Bit Wednesday!

I have been wanting to do this for a while now but have always been way too busy on Wednesdays! So here is my first "Wee Bit Wednesday".....


{one} have you ever been stuck in an elevator?No way! But if I did get stuck I think I would scream like crazy and make everyone who is in there with me that much more scared and nervous!

{two} have you ever ridden on an elephant?Yes I have! It was in the summer of 2007 when I went to India and I actually got my dad to ride on it with me.  I was terrified the entire time because I don't think India has the same safety regulations...

{three} have you ever met a well known celebrity?Sadly, no. But that would be amazing if it did happen!

{four} do you have any food allergies?Umm none that I know of yet but I'll let you know if anything changes :/

{five} do you know how to sew?I can but I can't.  If it's just putting a missing button on a jacket then I got that covered but I'm definitely no dress-maker!

{six} did you get an allowance when you were young?Only when my parents felt like giving me one but the chores still remained the same whether I received money or not...I guess they were teaching me to be hardworking and eventually the reward will come?

{seven} how often do you fill up your gas tank?Once every two weeks but it feels like I'm always filling up now that the prices are so high!

{eight} have you ever been stung by a jelly fish?No, even though as a kid I accidentally picked one up that was laying on the beach!

{nine} have you ever been robbed?Yes I have. About 2 years ago my house was broken into and I still haven't completely gotten over the devastation...it seems like every time I think of it all the sadness and anger come right back!

{ten} what is the worst haircut you’ve ever had?Probably from ages 6-8 when my mom decided she would save money and be the one to cut my bangs, which always came out waaay too short! Thank God I can pay for a stylist now! (Love you mom!)
