Fantastic Friday!

Happy Friday, Friends!

I'm so glad I FINALLY made it to another Friday! I waited all week for this day and it never lets me down :)
No matter how high stress levels may get at work today, I know that tomorrow is the weekend and all of this will be far behind me.

Some GREAT news!... today has officially been 15 days since I began my blog and I already have 15 friends following! I feel so loved :)

So here's the plan for this weekend:

Tonight: Danny is going to be Jesus in the Easter Play (I am such a proud wife!) so tonight he will be gone to practice until 10pm but it's worth it because all this time running lines gives him the confidence he needs before performing in front of hundreds of people! Plus, he's also kind of nervous because it's the first year they will be doing one of the scenes as a shadow play.
Here is an example of one:

As much as I am going to miss him, his practice tonight will also give me time for some much-needed rest so I can knock out this sickness! I would much rather be my happy, healthy self than a sick mess any day!

Saturday: After what has been wayyy too long, I'm finally getting a pedicure Saturday morning and can't wait :)The only hard part about it is that it takes me about 15-20 minutes (and lots of negotiating with the salon people!) before deciding on the color that my toes will be for the next 2 weeks!

I went on Google to find a cute pedicure picture and this is what I saw....
A fish pedicure! Of course I knew this existed but I really don't know what to think about it...have any of you ever tried this before?? I think I'm just going to stick with the old-fashioned way of getting a pedi!

I get side-tracked much too easily! Anyways, the rest of Saturday will hopefully be filled with lots of fun and relaxation to make up for this not-so-wonderful week! We are also having a family get-together at one of Danny's aunt's houses and that is ALWAYS entertaining! When you put a large group of very loud and opinionated people together with lots of  food and music you can't help but have a headache and overeat way too much a great time!

Sunday: I plan on definitely fitting in some R&R this day! This is usually our lazy day since we have church in the morning and try to run all of our errands on Saturday or during the week.

Hope you all have a fabulous and very fun weekend!

love always,

Argh, that fish pedi creeped me out! :D

Welcome to the blogging world! I think that you will really enjoy it. Your blog is beautiful, I wish mine had looked like this when I started, mine looked like my toddler had designed it. ;)

Thank you for commenting over at Yoga Gal!
