Mother's Day!

I feel like it's been forever since I blogged! And I guess for internet standards, 5 days away really is forever, haha! I hope all you momma's had a fabulous day on Sunday and that you were showered with tons of love and great gifts :)

Our family had one of the greatest mother's days ever...thanks to my MIL! She hosted the get together, cooked an enormous amount of great food (Chinese and Spanish themed...YUM!) and even had gifts for everyone!{Thanks MIL for the gorgeous stained glass decoration for our home}

 But the 5 top moments of the day were:
1. Being twins with my mom {10 years ago I would have had a fit if my mom tried to match with me, ha!}

2. Breaking the top off the M&Ms minis container (after eating all the contents of course) and squeezing the bottle so the lid shoots out at people. All credit for that ingenious idea goes to my 11-year-old nephew, Aaron.

3. Being told by said nephew that I am really still a kid inside. Ain't that the truth!

4. Laughing for pretty much 3 consecutive hours. Best ab workout I've had in a long time!
with my sis-in-laws :)

me and the Hubster

5. Realizing that all the women in the family are short (5'2" and under!) and that there were 8 of us...so one could be Snow White and the others would be the 7 dwarves, ha!
deciding who would be Snow. I nominated my mom, HA!

the end result: we are all dwarves!

So that sums up my weekend fun! The rest of the weekend was spent creating bookshelves for the office and I have to say, they look stunning! Well, as stunning as bookshelves can be.

P.S. - I LOVE these 2 women so much and can honestly say that Proverbs 31: 25-28 describes them.
Danny's mom was looking at him instead of the camera...oops!

"25She is clothed with strength and dignity,
    and she laughs without fear of the future.
26 When she speaks, her words are wise,
    and she gives instructions with kindness.
27 She carefully watches everything in her household
    and suffers nothing from laziness.
28 Her children stand and bless her."

love always,
