Picture Pileup!

Happy Friday!
I felt like I haven't slept this entire week because the hubster and I were rushing around like crazy people trying to get this office done (no, we don't have a deadline - we just like gettin' stuff done!) so it will be ahh-mazing to actually enjoy my bed tonight and get to sleep in a little on Saturday. I waited all WEEK for this, ha!

As for the title of this post, are you ready to see some pics that I found on my camera just oh.......10 MONTHS AGO! I didn't even remember that these pictures were taken from one of our trips to Disney right after we got married but I think they are pretty cute and are a great filler for a Friday post. Yes, you read correctly I am openly admitting I had no idea what to write about so I'm posting almost year-old photos. But I really do think you'll still enjoy the post ;)

What's Happening? {Last} Weekend Update!

So last weekend was definitely fun...but not the relaxing time that Danny and I had expected. I'll start with the bad news first! We went to Disney on Saturday and didn't get there until 7pm so we were pretty bummed since that only gave us an hour to have fun since the park usually closes around 8. BUT we were in for a huge surprise! The park was open until midnight because of the holiday season! Great, right? yea...notsomuch.

Apparently everyone and their mother, grandmother and entire extended family found out about the late hours and decided to come to Magic Kingdom that night! I would have taken a picture of the crowds but I was a little too irritated to even think about pulling out the camera. I just wanted to get the heck out of there...ASAP! Fortunately, we were spending the night in Orlando so we had more fun to look forward to, which was much the same on the next day! All this is my explanation why I only have 9 pictures for my entire weekend trip :(

At least Danny and I got to spend time together! Here are some pics (sorry about the numbers, kind of messy because I wrote them myself):
  1. the castle covered with bling!
  2. me in front of the castle...
  3. danny in front of the castle...
  4. and, drumroll please....Danny and I BOTH in front of the castle, haha!
  5. A sign from the Walt Disney museum
  6.  train from the light parade
  7. headed to Hollywood Studios the next day
  8. The newest addition to my Coach family :)
  9. me in front of  a floral representation of Mickey and the mops (my fav. part of Fantasia!)
Now for the good news, the weekend didn't start off ugly! In fact, we had a great time on Friday night. We were invited to a banquet by Lighthouse Ministries, which is a facility that provides rehabilitation to drug addicts. They give addicts help to get them back on their feet and the opportunity of a second chance in life. We heard some amazing testimonies and enjoyed great food and music. It was such a wonderful and inspiring night! I numbered the photos to help explain what's going on in them!
  1.  In the car, leaving our house
  2. Danny looking so cute!
  3. At our table
  4. my mom and I
  5. leaving the banquet at the fountain outside the restaurant
  6. a tired version of me, after arriving home
  7. I just opened this precious moment gift that was given to me by a friend
  8. admiring my hawaiian look-a-like, haha!
  9. silly picture of me in the bedroom. Do ya like my shoe wall in the closet behind me? :)
Tomorrow I will bring the exciting update of this weekend! I hope you all have a marvelous Monday!

love always,

Birthday Recap!

It's been two weeks since my 23rd birthday but it's still not too late for an update! Danny blessed me with a wonderful weekend in Orlando and though it's only about 80 miles away, I still truly enjoyed the vacation! We went to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios (MGM) and on my actual birthDAY we went to Kobe's Steakhouse, which was so much fun since they cook the food right in front of you and make it a very entertaining experience :)
The weather was not all that great when we left the house and it started pouring down rain as soon as we got on the highway but by the time we were half way there the sky was amazingly stunning! An interesting thing that happened once we got to Disney is Danny got to be "that guy" in the Monsters Inc. production so they kept videotaping him like four times during the show, which was pretty cool. It seems like every time we go to Disney we are picked for things. The last time we went Danny ended up proposing to me again as a part of one of the street shows that they have, haha! The pictures below are just a small glimpse of the fun we had!

We were about to get on the Star Tours ride (wasn't that great)

5 days to go!! I'm ♥ing it!

Birthday Week Continues!
Today I'm linking up with Jamie for WILW and this is a special edition for me! I'm officially celebrating my birthday week and this post is all things B-DAY! After I turned 18 birthdays have been bittersweet because they acknowledge the fact that life flies by so quickly and that we must take advantage of every moment we are given because we can never get back the years that have gone by. Don't get me wrong, I believe in second chances but as sad as it is there is just no way we can literally go back to being 18 again :(

Now on to WILW....

I'm liking that this will be the first birthday that I am celebrating with the hubby! We are going to celebrate with a weekend getaway to Disney and it is MUCH needed!

I'm liking that there will only be 23 candles on my cake :) Although, even when I'm 40 there will still only be that number of candles on my cake, haha!

I'm liking that my last day of class is on Thursday so my weekend will be completely stress-free. There is nothing worse than trying to enjoy a vacation while the worries of school are still waiting for you at home.

I'm liking that I got early birthday gifts! I already received the purple cover for my Macbook Pro that I have been wanting for a while now, some comfy Crocs sandals (they actually look pretty cute!), a lawn makeover, and $$$! I guess my friends and family have come to realize what an impatient person I am but Danny still has some surprises up his sleeve for me...I can't wait!

As always, I'm LOVING my sweet, caring and just-plain-wonderful husband, Daniel!

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!
love always,
