To be Sixteen Again...

I definitely do NOT wish to be sixteen again!I thought a lot about my teenage years this weekend due to my niece's sweet 16 party that was on Saturday. I'm so thankful that I am no longer in highschool (or even college) and don't have to deal with the drama, boyfriend troubles, acne (for the most part), learning how to drive, and trying to be an adult but still being treated like a child. Granted, I had at least a million great experiences during that period of life, but still I would never, ever want to repeat those years again! But I did have a blast partying like a teenager again at my niece's party!

Birthday Recap!

It's been two weeks since my 23rd birthday but it's still not too late for an update! Danny blessed me with a wonderful weekend in Orlando and though it's only about 80 miles away, I still truly enjoyed the vacation! We went to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios (MGM) and on my actual birthDAY we went to Kobe's Steakhouse, which was so much fun since they cook the food right in front of you and make it a very entertaining experience :)
The weather was not all that great when we left the house and it started pouring down rain as soon as we got on the highway but by the time we were half way there the sky was amazingly stunning! An interesting thing that happened once we got to Disney is Danny got to be "that guy" in the Monsters Inc. production so they kept videotaping him like four times during the show, which was pretty cool. It seems like every time we go to Disney we are picked for things. The last time we went Danny ended up proposing to me again as a part of one of the street shows that they have, haha! The pictures below are just a small glimpse of the fun we had!

We were about to get on the Star Tours ride (wasn't that great)

Workin on my {Fit}ness!

I'm getting my fitness on, ya'll!
Thanks to my newest friend, the Wii Fit Plus that Danny got me for my B-day! It is soooo amazing and has such a variety of games to choose from that I forget I'm even working out! Then I start sweating and it hits me that I am actually burning calories from playing a game. I love it!

It even recognized my b-day :)

This is my favorite game on it...even though I can't get past "beginner"
As you can probably tell from all my enthusiasm, I had a truly wonderful time with Daniel all weekend and the fact that my parents surprised me with some pretty amazing gifts definitely added to the wonderfulness of it all!

Yes, it POURED rained quite a bit over the weekend, but  not on the days we went to Disney. Instead it was like 100+ degrees those days (at least it felt like it!) so we only stayed there for a few hours each day but it was enough time to see and do everything we wanted to and Danny even got some surprises of his own, which I'll talk about in my next post.
My mom surprised us with tickets to a concert that I had been wanting to go to...Hillsong! They were great seats and we were able to take so many good pics but unfortunately most of them are saved on the internal memory of my camera (and we cant find the cord to take them out) but here are a few to prove we really did go ;)

i was looking like a tired mess at the end!

I hope you all have an amazing Wednesday and I'll share more of my birthday "experience" tomorrow!
love always,

Randomness to start the weekend

Happy Friday, everyone!

I have been having a beautiful day and it is such a great start the my Birthday weekend, which I'm sure you all are tired of hearing about by now! Even though there is a tropical storm passing by and there will be thunderstorms galore, I'm still excited! Nothing will dampen my spirits, not even lightning, thunder (although it does still scare me!) and tons of rain.Stay tuned next week for pics of my weekend and pray for the rain to stay away!

So on a totally different topic, I just came across some pics of my trip to Oregon and Northern Cali last spring and I thought I would share a few of them with you :) Enjoy!

I put my engagement ring inside a rose

Have a great weekend!!
love always,
