I'm Liking how close we are to Thanksgiving, it's less than 2 weeks away! And there are three great things that go along with this great holiday: 
1. enormous amounts of time with family (which includes tons of yummilicious food!) and this year is extra-special because my family will be joining Danny's family for thanksgiving dinner!
2. Black Friday! Lucky for me, my hubster is just as much a sale-maniac as I am so we will be hitting those stores right after midnight! Last year we went and got some amazing items so I can't wait to see what there is this year. Any of you big on the Black Friday sales?
3. Two-Day work week! Since I am always off on Mondays, I only have to work on Tuesday and Wednesday. How great is that?!

 I'm Liking that my church is having their annual Christmas Outreach in a couple weeks and that is always such an honor to be a part of. There is nothing like seeing the joy on a little kid's face as he or she receives new toys that they would never have gotten if it weren't for the outreach. It's amazing how many people in the community are in need and I'm so glad that I will be able to help out! 

I'm Liking that Christmas is coming verrry soon! This is by far my favorite holiday of the year! It was the season when I first met Daniel and was also the month when we got married. I'm thrilled to celebrate our first anniversary, exchange gifts with friends and family, and sit around listening to Christmas carols while drinking hot chocolate. Ahhh..this season is the best! What are some things you love about the holidays?

Me plus 7 others who I truly believe deserve this award! I feel so honored to have received this award from Candice at Candy Land. She is so sweet for thinking of me!

Let's start with some random info about me!
1. I love running as long as Daniel is with me and we are bouncing a tennis ball back and forth at the same time. It might sound crazy but it is AMAZING how much farther and faster we run if we are having fun and not concentrating on it so much! 

2. I will never, EVER get tired of going to Disney World!It always amazes me and the lightshow is such a truly magical experience every time. In fact, we are going there this weekend if all goes well because our year pass is coming to an end :(

3. I am shocked every time I get a pedicure and they use the razor, which I nicknamed "the potato peeler", on my feet. There is really THAT MUCH dead skin?!

 

4.My hubster got me hooked on the deadliest snack combination ever: Chips Ahoy cookies and nacho cheese Doritos. I don't even want to think about the amount of calories! But they are only consumed at special occasions so that makes it all better, right? haha!

 5. I am crazy about online shopping!! Yes, hubby, I promise I will stop... :)

Dishing out some info...and an award!

I am soooo thrilled that P from Life's Little Lessons chose to pass on the Versatile Blogger award to me :)

So now for part 2 of the rules to receive the award, here's a few fun little things about moi! 

1. I am the proud semi-owner of two of the world's sweetest dachshunds, Priya and Max. I may not talk about them much since I left them with my mom after getting married, but they are still the pups who are closest to my heart!

2. I'm a sucker for scrapbooking and all other somewhat-easy-to-do crafts....and I've even convinced Danny to join my bandwagon and we are creating things together :)

3. For my wedding we  made all of our own bouquets, centerpieces, table cards, place settings, invitations and other floral decorations because I enjoy being hands-on and felt that I would cherish those items so much more knowing that I took part in creating them for my special day.

4. I am SOOO into Bollywood movies!  If you tell me Amitabh Bachchan, Kajol, Aishwarya Rai, Sharukh Khan or Rani Mukherjee is in a movie, you know I will be watching it very soon!

5. I have such a passion for travelling. So far I have been to Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, England, China, Japan, South Korea, Tibet, Hong Kong and India but there are tons more countries that I would love to visit!

6. Though I really do love and enjoy the job I have, my real dream is for Daniel and I to have our own business one day. I have no idea what that business may be, but I'm excited about what's to come!

7.  I met my husband Daniel at church during one of the hardest times in both of our lives and God turned it into one of the best times! You can check out the "Our Love Story" tab for more about us :)
