Look at them being all popular!

So this week has been...a little tedious, somewhat routine, a tad bit boring and a whole lot of tiring! But it has also been going by just a little too slowly for my liking. For goodness' sake, the last time I blogged was on Friday! In the blog world that seems like forever since there is so much news, reviews and giveaways to catch up on. Hope I didn't miss out on too much :(

So although my life has pretty much been a big, huge bowl of boring for the last few days, my weekends are packed full with events starting this Saturday and I don't have a single Saturday without at least one event until mid-June! Holla! Look who is about to be a 'cool kid' now, haha! Yea I'm totally JK-ing ( that means just joking for my MIL who is reading this, ha!)

And since I'm on the topic of popularity and all {ok,ok notsomuch} I thought I would introduce you to some of the popular section of Pinterest finds. Although since they claim to be 'popular' you probably already know what they are. So humor me :)

Morning Madness....

Happy Wednesday!

This really is a great Wednesday for me since I only have one more day of work because I have off for Good Friday :)

But if you had asked me how wonderful my day was when I arrived at 7:30am to work this morning I would have probably screamed at you to "just leave me alone!" You see, everything was bright and cheery as usual when I lifted my head from my pillow. I was awoken by my husband with a kiss despite my morning breath {that's true love right there!}, made juice for breakfast and got ready while listening to some parenting advice on the radio. So of course in my unsuspecting mind I thought, "Yay, another wonderful day in the neighborhood!"
Ohhh...I forgot that I can only control what I do, not what my sweet, loving, wonderful {75% of the time} coworkers can do. Let's just say 5 minutes after I walk into my office, I want to run out crying! I was completely berated by a fellow coworker and taken off my rainbows-and-butterflies cloud really quick! But just as fast as I felt the tears about to start falling, I reminded myself of how good and merciful God is and how as Matthew 6:14 says, "If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you". I have said hurtful things to others so many times and God has always forgiven me so I have no right to wish the worst on this person just because they decided to take out their wrath on sweet innocent me {yea right!} this morning. But seriously, don't coworkers just have that amazing ability to bring out the cray-zee in you?!

So I'm bringing back the sunshine to my day by linking up with Michelle and Jamie for some of the things I'm craving to make for Spring that I discovered on my new fave site, Pinterest!

would love to make this with just a few bigger felt birdies :)

Here is some Random for ya!

I woke up today wishing more than anything that I could take off work and catch up on another 8 hours of sleep! Therefore, I feel like I am straight out of a zombie movie (me being the zombie of course!) Here's the dilemma: I love participating in WILW and "Oh, How Pinteresting" but don't have even one ounce of creativity in me today. So I typed "random" into the Pinterest search bar and here's a tad bit of the randomness-overload I received!

seriously?! This is like a photo of me this morning in caricature form, ha!

I have to say, that's pretty cool!

I totally laughed out loud at this!

What a rebel!

So that sums up my randomness for you today...come back tomorrow for a whole new level of random, ha! :)

Love is Bittersweet...

I'm sad.
But I'm also happy!
You see, we are in the middle of stripping our home of the Christmas cheer that we covered it with a few weeks ago. It always breaks my heart just a little to see all my ornaments, decorations and nativity scenes get covered in bubble wrap and placed in a box to be hidden away in the attic, never to be seen again until next December.
However, this is all being done because we have to make room to celebrate other holidays, which is where the happiness I feel begins! I'm also joining Jamie for another edition of:
 I'm loving that....
Love is in the air...I can feel it all around! The Day of Love will be here before we know it so, unlike years in the past, I want to make the most of it by filling my home with the theme of l-o-v-e! I found some great DIY ideas (all via Pinterest) to share with you!

I made one of these for Danny a few years ago and he still reads it over again!

so cute!

I hope this helps you get your home decked out in LOVE! Can't wait to share how my DIY projects come out!

Are You Ready to Listen?

Because I have tons of news to share!
I am officially back from my first cruise ever and have finally begun to realize that I am really out of school. I have been in school nonstop from time I was 5 years old until 23 (pretty much my entire life!) so I can't help but feel a little bewildered when I realize that I actually have something called "free time" now. Every now and then I still get that moment of panic because I am afraid that I have forgotten an assignment or missed a deadline but for the first time in a very long time I actually don't have an academic thing to worry about....and it feels GREAT!

I'm joining Jamie for WILW since my list is full this week!

I'm Liking that I have more time to work out now and can lose all the weight I gained on the cruise. It's amazing how in five days I can put on what feels like ten pounds but it will take at least five weeks to lose that weight. So unfair if you ask me!
I'm Liking that I am back in the blogging world! Which reminds me....I have tons of fabulous post ideas coming up in the next couple weeks. Stay tuned!

I'm Liking how absolutely stunning my graduation celebration was! My hubby, mom and mom-in-law truly outdid themselves! Everything from the food to the decorations and surprise video were just perfection! I will share all the details tomorrow because the party deserves a post of its own.

I'm Loving that I have such great friends and family. I am so blessed to have people that care about me and are so supportive of me! This quote by Oscar Wilde expresses exactly how I feel about the many wonderful people in my life who celebrated with me, "Anybody can sympathise with the sufferings of a friend, but it requires a very fine nature to sympathise with a friend's success."

As always, I'm Loving my sweet hubster Daniel!
he was my camera man!
I hope you all have a beautiful day!
p.s. - tomorrow's post will fill you in on the graduation day details! :)

love always,
Asha
