Randomness + Chevron!

Happy Friday!

I just thought I would share a bit of randomness (my specialty!) with you today.

After rediscovering my passion with Polyvore last week, here are a couple outfits I created for my trip this summer {less than a month to go, woohoo!} and they are both designed with pieces that are all under $50 :)

I made 2 completely different outfits, using the same chevron crossbody bag!

We are heading to the Oregon coast so it will be a bit breezy but still warm in some parts.

leopard, skinny jeans, chevron

We are also going to California, so here is a more summery outfit I came up with:

gold, coral, turquoise

Don't you just love that Chevron bag?!
I'm thinking of doing this on the regular for Fridays now. Would you all be interested in that? Feedback please!

On a different note, the hubster and I finally saw "The Hunger Games" last night and....we were SO disappointed!

It's probably because we are so detail-oriented or because we loved the book so much that no movie could ever really do it justice...but I felt like the whole movie was rushed and there wasn't really enough time given to developing the characters.  And I don't know about you, but the ending was such a let down :( Seriously, those muttations at the end just looked like oversized pitbulls! Ugh, ok I will end my min-rant now, haha!

I hope you all have a great Memorial Weekend...and don't forget to take a moment and think of the many men and women who sacrificed their lives for this amazing country!

love always,

BOTH are adorable outfits. Funny, I see others wearing colored jeans and think "so cute!", but then think "I could never wear that." I have no idea why. Lol.
My favorite outfit is the 2nd one, though. I love that orangey, salmony, persimmony color. (like that descriprion?) And my fave color is turquoise. Of course, the combo is classic, so what's not to love? And naturally, the chevron bag is hot.

If you have time to kill on Polyvore (ha!), go for it. I'm up for seeing more of your "outfits". :)

Love those outfits! I am surprised you didnt like the Hunger Games but it makes sense, for a lot of people the movies can never really live up to the books

Love those looks! And I agree about the mutations, they weren't what I had pictured in my head. I wish the movie could have been longer.

I LOVE both outfits and that bag is a "must get" for me now! The first outfit is my fave! I recently finished the Hunger Games trilogy and have yet to see the movie...loved the books, but now I'm not as excited to see the movie. Darn....the book IS always better though, right?! Have a great weekend.

We were super disappointed with the Hunger Games too. I didn't realize just how bad it was though until a co-worker who had never read the books started asking me questions. He really did not understand the movie at all and it made him not want to read the books...ugg.
